Kaeli Cook

I'm constantly making; I can't sit still for very long. My hands have to be doing something all the time, weather it's making something in my pottery studio, cooking or one of the many textile projects I have on the go. I discovered pottery as a teenager. I traveled Canada before I opened my studio and in my travels pottery kept finding me. Without looking for it, I found potters who needed assistance, found teaching opportunities and shared studio spaces. After traveling I moved back home to New Brunswick and opened a pottery studio. I love making things that people use every day; something that is loved and used all of the time… that mug that no one else is allowed to use, or the pair of knitted socks that are warn until there are holes.
